MaCaisse

The till that splits services between your stylists

In a salon one client passes through several pairs of hands and leaves with a single bill. General-purpose tills cannot make that split. It is precisely what MaCaisse does without being asked.

One client, several hands, one ticket

The cut is done by one, the colour by another, the blow-dry by a third. On the ticket, each line carries the name of whoever performed it. The client sees one bill.

The assignment happens as the service is added, by tapping a name. Nobody has to remember at closing who did what, and no service disappears into somebody else total.

Commission to the exact percentage

Each person has their rate, and it can differ from one service to another. A colourist on fifteen percent for colour and ten for cutting will see both lines worked out differently, on the same ticket.

Their commission total appears in their report, by day, week or month. The end-of-month conversation happens over a figure everyone can check.

Who did what, and for how much

Takings per person, which services, at what margin. The report comes out per person and per period, and compares from one week to the next.

It is also what shows that a service has stopped selling, or that a new technique has caught on — before it shows up in the overall figure.

The salon stock as well

Shampoos, colours, treatments, retail products: they come in at the price actually paid to the supplier and come down both on sale and on use at the chair. Low-stock alerts warn you before a shade runs out on a Saturday morning.

Tubes opened at the chair and tubes sold off the shelf leave the same stock. You know what goes into services and what goes over the counter, and what each brings in.

Frequently asked questions

Can each service be assigned to a different stylist?

Yes. On one ticket, each line carries the name of the person who performed it, and the assignment is made by tapping a name as the service is added.

How is commission calculated?

By a percentage rate, specific to each person, which can differ from one service to another. The total appears in the report by day, week or month.

Does the app handle products sold in the salon?

Yes, exactly as it handles services. Products come in at their real purchase price and come down both on resale and on use at the chair.

Do I need one tablet per stylist?

No. One tablet is enough, with each person opening a session by tapping. Several tablets remain possible in a larger salon: they then share the same records and the same stock over the salon Wi-Fi.
