The POS app built for restaurant service
A service is tables filling up out of order, waiters crossing paths and a kitchen that has to understand first time. MaCaisse is written for that rhythm, not for a quiet counter.
Every dish has its recipe card
Behind a margherita there is dough, sauce, mozzarella and ten minutes of oven. The recipe card lists those components one by one, with the real quantity and the current purchase price. The food cost of the plate follows by itself.
That figure does not sit in a binder: it feeds the profit calculation directly. When the price of mozzarella rises, the margin on the pizza moves the same evening, without anyone redoing a spreadsheet.
Allergens are declared on the same card. Your team answers a customer by looking at the screen, instead of walking to the kitchen to ask.
Several waiters, one ticket per table
Each opens a session with one tap, with no password to retype on every order. What they send is credited to them: at the end of service, their turnover, their margin and their cover count come out under their name.
A table stays one table, however many people serve it. The ticket fills up as the evening goes, and the bill adds up correctly even when three waiters have touched it.
From supplier to plate
Delivery notes bring goods in at the price actually paid. Returns and credit notes are recorded alongside, stocktakes correct the gaps, write-offs take out what was binned.
Stock is consumed FIFO: the till takes from the oldest batch first, at that batch own purchase price. Two deliveries of the same item at two different prices therefore do not blur into one margin figure.
The end-of-service report
Total takings, net profit, average ticket, best-selling dishes, split by payment method, breakdown by waiter. All on the tablet before the floor is swept, and readable from a browser the next day.
Kitchen dockets, meanwhile, went out during service on the pass printer — or on the pizza oven printer and the bar printer separately, if that is how you set them up.

Frequently asked questions
Can several waiters share one tablet?
Yes. Each opens a session with one tap and their sales are credited automatically. The service report breaks the figures down per person.
Does the app work out the food cost of my dishes?
Yes, from each dish recipe card: components, quantities and purchase prices. The food cost then feeds the net profit calculation.
Are allergens handled?
They are declared on each dish card and stay readable from the sales screen, without having to ask the kitchen.
Do I need a printer for kitchen dockets?
No, you can work from the screen. If you add one, MaCaisse drives thermal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth printers, and can route each station to its own.
